I grew up on a farm in a farming comunity where I did alot of manual labour from a young age. I was always very fond of sports, for many years I competed in Judo, Basketball, and even in some IronMan endurance type events..."

Started armwrestling: Always recreationaly, used to armwrestle my grandmother A LOT when I was about 4 or 5, but with real armwrestlers ,(starting with Dion Lengyel) in late 1994. In 1995 moved back to home and continued with the Picton club under Troy Eaton, where I was beat on by the Ontario Heavyweights for many years.

Toughest opponent: Always the next one.

Toughest match: I have had many many hard matches, for different reasons, but... the one that always comes to mind is when I armwrestled Ron Bath at the Mike Gould Classic in 2006.

Best training advice: Embrace armwrestling as part of your life, ensure that it is fun and enjoyable before everything else. Build a strong team around you, a team in armwrestling will help you more than any weight, machine or food ever can. Learn from everyone you can. Do a little bit everyday, not all in one day. Prioritize your table training days, show up fresh, don't lift weights before, leave practise exhausted, the rest of the days between practise are just to get you ready for the next one.

Goal: In time move to promotion/development of the sport, till then crush people.
